Math Teacher

 

Shane grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Eastern University and Villanova University, respectively. Outside the classroom, Shane plays for the tennis team and is President of the Eastern University Engineering Society. Shane has extensive experience tutoring and teaching peers through drop-in tutoring hours as well as one-on-one tutoring at Eastern University. He helps fellow students with all levels of math, physics, and computer science. 

 

Shane has come to teach at Golden Key Enrichment not only to gain experience in the classroom but also to share his love for mathematics. After hearing a lecture about mathematics and human flourishing,  Shane gained a new appreciation for the importance of sharing math. Admittedly, Shane was not always the biggest fan of math, but through his time at college, he has come to a new appreciation of the subject.

 

In addition to math, Shane enjoys most subjects ranging from philosophy to computer science. He has recently taken up pickleball in his free time and enjoys taking walks through downtown Wayne.
