LYDIA NAWROCKI
Math Teacher
Lydia was born in Bryn Mawr, PA and has lived in the Philadelphia area her whole life. She is fluent in Russian and has spent many summer weeks in Moscow with her grandparents attending Russian camps and staying over with her families' friends fully immersed in the country's language and culture. Lydia graduated cum laude from the Episcopal Academy and is currently pursuing a BS in Human Science at Georgetown University with aspirations of some day becoming a doctor.

As one of the first students at Golden Key Enrichment, Lydia had experienced the development and growth of our center first hand. In addition to being a student herself (she is still taking a Russian grammar class with us even while in college!), Lydia started helping out as an assistant in Math and Russian in seventh grade. Since then, she has assisted in every subject, worked as a substitute teacher and been involved in curriculum planning, materials' preparation, camp activities and performing as the Snow Maiden (Snegurochka) during all of our holiday parties until she graduated from high school. Lydia has a passion for teaching and she particularly enjoys Mathematics for the ability to break down complexities into smaller pieces.
Outside of the classroom, Lydia has many interests, especially relating to the arts. She is an active member of Grace Notes (a college a cappella group), dance team, and is frequently involved in theater productions. Lydia finds these activities rewarding for their collaborative nature and united mindset. Lydia is excited to be formally promoted to a Math Teacher with Golden Key Enrichment this year!
