FERUZA YUVAKAEVA
Early Childhood Teacher
Feruza is a native Russian speaker with 30+ years of experience in elementary education and psychology. After completing the Tashkent Secondary Music Training College, Feruza graduated from the Tashkent Teachers Training Institute and the Tashkent Institute of Culture. Upon arrival to America, Feruza also obtained a BS in Psychology and Business from Drexel University, and an MS in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University.
While in Tashkent, Feruza worked for 15 years as an elementary school teacher for the school of early learning “Pochemuchka.” In the US, Feruza has been working for the West Chester School District, providing one-on-one personal care as a Therapeutic Support Staff for children with Autism and learning problems. She has also provided and continues to provide counseling services as a Therapist and Addiction counselor for medical organizations in the Philadelphia area.
Feruza has been teaching at Golden Key Enrichment since its creation. She loves children, and has a warm and engaging personality and an incredibly positive attitude, which the kids feel - so they love her back. Her lessons are a great balance of fun and instruction, and she provides a great amount of practice and teaching support to her students.
