ANASTACIA OREKHOVA

Math Teacher

 

Anastacia was born and grew up in Belarus. Upon high school graduation, she earned a scholarship to attend Minsk State Linguistic University where she majored in English. However, after her freshman year in Belarus, Anastacia’s family moved to the United States. Since her move to the Philadelphia area, Anastacia has enrolled at the Delaware County Community College where she is currently a sophomore, majoring in biology and chemistry.

Anastasia has a great passion for science and math which is evident from her Honors academic standing. At DCCC, she is working on her Associate’s degree in Science for Health Professions. Anastacia is planning on transferring to Temple University to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. In the future, she aspires to pursue Master’s and Doctoral Degrees to become a researcher.

Outside of the classroom, Anastacia is President of the Science Club at her college and also takes a great interest in music and singing. She started taking piano and chorus classes at six years old and recently she was a lead singer of the indie rock band “Gemtarra”.

Anastacia joined Golden Key Enrichment as a Math Teacher in 2024. She finds math incredibly fascinating and is excited to work with kids to broaden their understanding of elementary math concepts.
